The International festival Mladi levi, is one of the more prominent annual events of Bunker (a non-profit organization for the realization and organization of cultural events).


MLADI LEVI brings together the most current stage performers and other forms of contemporary art from all over the world to Ljubljana every end of the summer. It bears a mark of a demanding artistic profile, placed within the arena of contemporary progressive theatre and takes pride in its reputation for discovering young talents. The Festival has a distinctive atmosphere, marked with creativity and vibrant spirit, curious audience and social nature.


In the past 20 years they have hosted numerous international artists, among them: Franco-Serbian choreographer Josef Nadj, French artists Jérôme Bel, Philippe Quesne, Compagnie Nacera Belaza, Spanish artists Conservas and Ursula Martinez, Portugese artists Miguel Pereira, O Rumo Do Fumo and Vera Mantero, Itlian artists Antonio Tagliarini and Compagnia Sud Costa Occidentale, South African Artists Compagnie Rary, Company Gaara, The Floating Outfit Project and Boyzie Cekwana, Turkish artist Mustafa Kaplan, Russian artist Oleg Soulimenko, company Dood Paard from The Netherlands, French contemporary circus artist Camille Boitel, Swiss artist Stefan Kaegi and Rimini Protokoll, Japanese artist Hiroaki Umeda, Swiss artist Milo Rau, the Institute for Political Murder and Belgian production house Campo and numerous others.
